Song of 4 a.m.
Hard to believe it, but this recording is approaching its 30th birthday. Although by current production standards it is quite rough around the edges, it contains some good songs not available elsewhere. Released on cassette, it has been out of print for a couple of decades, and any surviving cassettes are probably not playable at this point. Despite its limitations in terms of sound quality, I have decided to make a digital (mp3) version of "song of 4 a.m." available for those who may be interested.
Pilgrim Fire was a wonderful group of musicians brought together for the creation and/or launch of this recording, which features nine of my early songs and one song by Ray Corrin. It was my first experience recording in a studio, and I will always be grateful to Ray for being the driving force and the brain behind this project. |
